Our school values families.  In 2005 we decided to develop the Sunbury playgroup.

The playgroup operates on Friday mornings from 9.15 - 10.30 and is run by one of our teacher aides and parent volunteers..   All children under school age are welcome.  The playgroup is a supported playgroup through Playgroup Queensland.

This is the playgroup charter which will guide the activities we plan and undertake: 

1. Value play and have fun                   

2. Respect and value difference

3. Participate and share

4. Safe and secure environment

5. Encourage not discourage

6.  Develop love of literature

A few pointers that will help you and your child/ren get the most out of the experience:

• You are responsible for your own child/ren.

• Please dress your child/ren (and yourselves) in older clothes because some activities will be messy!!

• Play with the children but don’t do it for them.

• School age children are not to be at playgroup (eg when sick).

• Bring a piece of fresh fruit or vegetable to cut up and share.

• Bring a cool drink for yourself and your child/ren.

• Our playgroup is a great opportunity for you to meet other parents and share ideas and for your child/ren to meet other children and have fun.
